Last Thursday, August 4, was declared to be International #IPADay. All craft beer drinkers were encourage to drink an IPA in recognition of one of the most popular craft beer styles. I was not able to participate in this event as I was here:

Since this was a Boy Scout campout with my son, alcohol was prohibited. But the scenery and relaxation more than made up for that.
However, according to Untappd, many people were able to participate in the event. Untappd is a social media site where you “check-in” to beers and venues. On a recent blog post, Untappd had over 11,000 check-ins on August 4. Almost 4000 of those were for IPAs. Check out the infographic below for more details.
